Warm shower during labor
We do not offer water birth for safety reasons. However, if you wish to use water as a form of relief, we are happy to recommend other options – a warm shower, a relaxing bath, or warm compresses. These methods can be very effective and pleasant during labor.
Warm water helps relax muscles, relieve pain, and promote relaxation during contractions. Many mothers find it calming and it aids in a smoother labor process.
We recommend trying the shower during pregnancy so you know how the warmth helps you.
