Tour of the maternity ward – so you know what to expect

Many future mothers feel reassured when they can visit the maternity ward before giving birth. That’s why we offer a tour of the maternity ward as part of the prenatal consultation. Together we will walk through the delivery room, explain how the admission process works, and show you the postpartum unit where you will rest with your baby after delivery.

A personal visit helps reduce tension and fears of an unfamiliar environment. When you know the way, where to find things, and who will take care of you, you come to the delivery with greater calmness and confidence. Many mothers know that feeling – even upon arrival, they feel more relaxed and can focus only on themselves and their baby.

During the tour, you can ask us anything that interests you: how the room is equipped, how visits work, how care is provided after delivery, or what you should bring with you. Our goal is for you to leave with answers to all your questions.

We recommend scheduling your tour in advance, ideally when registering for delivery. We will be happy to show you the environment that will briefly become your home base.
