Bc. Petra Běláková
As a midwife, I have been working for 10 years. For six years, I worked in the postpartum and high-risk pregnancy department, and for the last four years, I have been working in the delivery room. Becoming a midwife was initially not my plan at all. I wanted to work with children in a nursery.
However, during my studies at the healthcare secondary school in Jihlava, I first glanced into the delivery room, and at that moment, I knew that this would be my dream place, so after studying at the secondary school, I began my studies to become a midwife. Helping women and supporting them in the most important moment of their lives gives me enormous meaning. Every birth and every woman creates a unique and unrepeatable story, which is based on trust and respect - for oneself, for one's body and baby, for one's companion, and also for one's midwife.
I would also like to offer birth support for Spanish-speaking women for my personal and professional development. I have been studying Spanish for the fourth year, and my language level is at B1-B2.
Shall we write your story together?
Petra
