My name is Kristýna Dvořáková and I have been working as a midwife since 1997. I work at the Faculty Hospital in Královské Vinohrady, where I accompany women through their unique life moment - childbirth. I approach each birth with respect, calmness, and humanity. I strive to provide women with confidence, a smile, and support, so that childbirth is as beautiful an experience as possible for them. I believe in the natural course of childbirth, but I also respect the medically recommended procedures that protect the health of both the mother and the baby. I am an advocate of epidural anesthesia – I consider it a brilliant option for relieving pain, but I always leave the decision to the mother. My work continues to fulfill and bring me joy even after years, as each birth story is different and unique.
