Even during my studies in midwifery, I felt that accompanying women during pregnancy and childbirth is the path I want to take. I perceive childbirth as a unique process in which the strength of the female body, emotions, courage, and fragility meet. Every woman experiences it differently, and each deserves a respectful and individual approach. I graduated from Masaryk University in Brno, and after finishing my studies, I worked in the delivery room at the Faculty Hospital Brno - Bohunice, where I gained valuable practical experience. Currently, I work at the Faculty Hospital of Charles University in Vinohrady, where I continue to develop professionally and encounter diverse birth stories daily. I believe that the foundation of a good birth experience is a feeling of safety, trust, and open communication. I strive to provide women with enough information, listen to their wishes and concerns, and support them in their decision-making. Each journey to childbirth is different, and no choice is wrong if it stems from the needs of the woman and her family. My aim is to create a calm and safe environment where a woman can feel respected, supported, and acknowledged. Part of my professional practice also includes preparation for childbirth and lactation consulting, where I support women in their early stages of breastfeeding and help them find confidence and trust in their own abilities. Being a midwife for me means not just a professional role, but primarily the honor of accompanying a woman at the moment when not only a child is born, but also her maternal strength.
